BASIC FUNCTION:
Perform a variety of clerical duties in support Study Connection, volunteer and other assigned community programs and services; compile, assemble, distribute, collect and process various forms, documents and applications.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school and one year of general clerical experience. The employee must have strong office, computer, and oral and written communication skills. Incumbents must be a critical thinker and be able to make decisions in the supervisor’s absence. He or she must be able to multi-task, have excellent time management skills, experience with two-way radios beneficial and possess a valid Indiana driver’s license.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Perform a variety of clerical duties in support of Study Connection, volunteer and other assigned community programs and services; provide general support in meeting community program, volunteer, fundraising and other identified needs.
2. Prepare, assemble, distribute, collect and process FWCS school volunteer applications and various other forms and documents; review paperwork for accuracy and completeness; request additional information as needed.
3. Assist in acquiring and assembling materials for various projects; prepare and distribute a variety of correspondence and informational materials related to Study Connection, volunteer and other assigned community programs and services.
4. Provide general communication and liaison services in support of assigned community programs; initiate, receive and route telephone calls; take and relay messages; provide general information concerning programs, services, policies and procedures.
5. Conduct Study Connection site visits; assist Program participants with accessing services; assist with resolving Program issues and conflicts.
6. Assist in arranging and conducting tutor and teacher breakfasts, Kickoff Celebration and End of Year party at study sites; notify participants of related schedules, locations and information.
7. Compile and verify a variety of data, paperwork and information pertaining to FWCS Scholarship program.
8. Input various data into an assigned computer system as required; maintain automated records and files; generate computerized lists and reports as directed.
9. Monitor inventory levels of designated supplies; order, receive, and maintain appropriate levels of inventory.
10. Communicate with Transportation to create yellow bus routes for Study Connection; communicate with appropriate individuals regarding updates and changes to routes and work with special purpose bus drivers for specific Study Connection site routes; drive special purpose bus when needed.
11. Perform related duties as assigned by the Administrator to meet the particular needs of the building/unit.

While performing the duties of this job the incumbent is seated or walking at will and has limited physical labor.
